Nodule de Sœur Marie-Joseph révélant un adénocarcinome gastrique: A propos d’un cas

Abstract
Le nodule de Sœur Marie-Joseph(SMJ) est une métastase cutanée ombilicale d’un cancer du tractus gastro-intestinal ou de la sphère gynécologique. La tumeur primitive est généralement un adénocarcinome, rarement un carcinome épidermoïde, un mélanome ou un sarcome. Toutefois, dans de 15 % à 30 % des cas, la tumeur primaire est inconnue. C’est une pathologie très rare et qui pose un double problème diagnostique et pronostique. Elle survient souvent chez une malade dont le cancer est déjà connu ou le révèle. Sa présence est associée à un mauvais pronostic.
