Association du syndrome de Cushing ACTH-dependant et teratome ovarien mature

Abstract
Le syndrome de Cushing endogène est caractérisé par des manifestations multisystémiques d'hypercortisolémie. Il est causé dans les deux tiers des cas par un adénome hypophysaire sécrétant de l'ACTH: l’adénome corticotrope ou maladie de Cushing. L’association de cette dernière avec les tératomes ovariens est exceptionnelle. Nous rapportons l’observation particulière d'une patiente présentant un tératome mature de l'ovaire découvert lors de son suivi pour une maladie de Cushing récidivante. Cette association soulève la question de l’existence éventuelle de mutations associées de gènes impliqués dans la genèse des deux pathologies. La confrontation permanente des connaissances acquises avec de nouvelles données cliniques recueillies auprès du patient s’avère indispensable pour élargir l’éventail de la recherche dans le futur.
