Charaf Eddine Elkassimi, Abdullah Ahmad Moussa, Mohamed Rafai, Abdelhak Garch.

Abstract
Introduction: Ipsilateral fractures of the clavicle and glenoid neck (floating shoulder) are often the result of high-energy trauma. These lesions are a rare entity
Case report: We report the observation of 2 patients admitted for a floating shoulder and treated in our department, in order to discuss the clinical and therapeutic features of this lesion association
Conclusion: These lesions are a rare entity and the lack of a large number of published series makes the treatment of these lesions controversial. Good results have been reported with both surgical and orthopaedic treatment.

Key words: Floating shoulder, scapula, clavicle, mechanical instability, Surgical treatment
